In the early years raced Minis in Canada but with business pressures took a long sabbatical from racing reentering the sprort in Southern Baja off-road competitions. Proud to help others achieve. Moto “anything is possible if you don’t mind who gets the credit.”

He has 7 Mexican Championships, 2 “Best Off Road Driver” National Awards, podium finishes internationally in SCORE and has participated in Nascar Mexico. Luis is 28 years old, holds an education degree and is a professional driver. He currently drives for El Martillo Racing in NORRA and Baja Mexico race events.

Luis “Fito” Ramirez
As a team leader he has prepared winning cars for SCORE International, the Pan-American Rally, NORRA, and Mexican OFF-Road Series. He a well-known Mexican navigator with SCORE International wins, Mexican National Event wins, and high finishes in NORRA and the Pan-American Rally.
Nicolas is 30 years old and started his race career in Guadalajara, Mexico where is worked with Turbo VW’s, from there he emigrated to the US and worked for top race engine specialists before returning to Mexico where he currently works for El Martillo Racing as their prep specialist and Navigator.
Craig Fairbanks, American, has given himself some time off of his pool business to join El Martillo Racing Team. He is considered the principal suspect of Campbell getting involved in off road racing in Baja Sur, so he is in reality a co-founder of the team. He often navigates with Matt in the local Baja Sur races. In the Dakar 2014 he was in charge of Chase Truck #2, driving more than 8,000 km around Argentina and Chile. Many 3 hour nights and long days he still has a passion for the sport.
Werner Leuenberger, Canadian, divides his off road racing passion with his real estate activities in Los Cabos. As part of El Martillo Racing, Werner is in charge of all heavy transport by highway in the peninsula, with more than 100 trips driving Baja from the U.S. border to the tip, he has the experience for that task! He is a key anchor of the chase crew. In the 2014 Dakar he was in charge of the Chase Truck #1, driving over 8,000 km chasing the Durango.
Luis Medina Arcadia, Mexican, has 10 years working for off road racing media in Baja California Sur. From forums administration, web administration, social media, MC and journalist, up to be part of the organization in local races. Luis takes care of all El Martillo Racing’s communications. He was the key media person on Dakar 2014 and looks forward to growing the El Martillo footprint in all aspects of social media and public awareness.
